Zondag 25 augustus werden we alweer voor de 2e keer verwacht aan de Jachthaven aan de Snepdijk te Gent, waar de mensen van Kiwanis, onze hoofdsponsor van comAfterwork, ons met open armen opwachtten voor een dagje watersport en -plezier! Na een heerlijk en gratis aangeboden ontbijt, was het tijd om in te schepen : ook dit jaar hadden wij het voorrecht om op de Speedboat “Panis Suavis” van Kapitein Dirk Devreese te mogen plaatsnemen!!! Dirk leerde onze leerlingen sturen, schakelen, en vooral : gas geven 😉 Zo mocht iedereen om beurt de Speedboat besturen. Bovendien mocht iedereen op de band aan de speedboat hangen, en zelfs eens proberen waterskiën! ’s Middags was er een heerlijke, en jawel weer volledig gratis maaltijd met een ijsje er bovenop. In de namiddag nog meer water, nog meer snelheid en nog meer actie op het water! Door al onze activiteiten op het water kwamen wij als laatste binnen (net niet als vermist opgegeven 🙂 ); iets wat wijzelf helemaal niet erg vonden! Voor het naar huis gaan kreeg iedereen nog een verrassingspakket mee naar huis! Binnenkort vind je hier nog veel meer foto’s en zelfs actiefilmpjes! Bedankt aan iedereen van Kiwanis voor deze uitnodiging, dit prachtige initiatief en de uitstekende organisatie! Graag tot volgend jaar!
